How to make a costume - the Michele method:

1. Pick character
2. Measure person playing character
3. Read script about character
4. Ask Phil what he wants the character to look like
5. Sketch what I think the character should look like
6. Design the outfit
7. Choose and buy the fabric
8. Make the outfit

9. Fit the outfit on the person. Ignore the comment about 'do I look fat in this?'
10. Finish outfit: Phil tells me he needs three more...
