Cinderella! - who's she?

Don't tell me that you are honestly reading this bit because you don't know what the tale of Cinderella is all about? If that is the case then may I first welcome you to our planet.

The truth is that we in the SPOTS panto research department have delved into ancient archives, scoured newspaper clippings of the time and taken eye witness reports of what actually happened to Cinderella, the poor girl who made good. For the first time we can exclusively reveal 'Cinderella, her true story'.

The basic plot is probably already known to you. Cinderella was born to a reasonably wealthy family but following her mother's death was banished to a life of slavery by her new stepmother. Along with the stepmother came two hideous sisters with no fashion sense, Trinny and Suzannah, no - sorry, Haemorrhoid and Hernia. Along with the sisters came stinky underwear, wrinkle cream and gallons of wart remover. Along with all that went the family's money, mostly on a Marks and Spensive's charge card for the stepmother and sisters.

The charge card bit is probably news to you, as will be the fact that there was also a really mean baddy who was determined to evict the family from their home for his own evil means. Trust us, this is all fact. We researched it. Honest.

So what happened next? The only way to find out is to watch the show. Cheer at the goodies, boo at the baddies, join in at the joiny in bits and generally have a good time. When all is done you can go home safe in the knowledge that you are now one of the privileged few who really know the actual story of Cinderella.

...and every word is true.
